Nowhere in the wine country is there currently a place where golfers can enjoy the spirit of golf's original venues, such as North Berwick, Prestwick, Troon (pictured) and St. Andrews in Scotland. The proposed Coore & Crenshaw-designed golf course at Brambles will pay tribute to those special places. With a focus on providing walking golf that is thrilling, fun and challenging to all levels of players, the golf course will be a visual treat as it stretches out over a beautiful expanse of wine country valley floor. The new golf course will be operated on a non-profit basis to affect positive change through land stewardship, education and philanthropy. In keeping with a fine tradition in golf, use of the course will be shared between visiting golfers and a golf club, the Brambles Club.
